Certified Therapy Dogs of America is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) therapy dog group that empowers, reviews, and insures therapy dog teams (handler and dog) to be able to go to facilities, and bring people inside comfort and happiness.
CTDogs provides insurance for it's passed teams through Kinsale Insurance Company. This is a primary insurance for liability.
We have a streamlined yet thorough process to approve member therapy dog teams. There is a one time test, a thorough, rigorous test, from which handlers and trainers come away with an immediate pass or fail. And the process is very open and straightforward.
